I was going to use the number in a collage once, but I wasn't ready to part with it... It is just an old house number that had been painted over then when it was removed, the paint chipped in a way that I liked...and so.. another treasure for my collection...

Old house numbers can take on a real charm of their own, especially when they've been painted over several times - each layer must have its own story to tell!
