Good things, great weekend!

I'm thrilled to report that my show with Carl Holzman, Mid Century Revival, at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art opened this past weekend.  Unfortunately I couldn't be two places at one time, and was thrilled to be in NYC for my daughters wedding.  I am so anxious to see the show later next month and hope you can get there too if you are in the area!

New work on an old series idea

I could paint the metro cards all day.. so much fun!!  But I also need to keep busy on my work for the show at Hammond Harkins Gallery in March, so I started work on some new paintings that are picking up an old series I started years ago.  I am excited to explore this idea a lot more!  Rock, Paper, Scissors.. works in progress... each 36" x 48" oil on canvas

one more doll painting... for now

I finished this painting at the end of last year and have to be done with my doll paintings for a month or two.  I have lots more that I am looking forward to painting, but I will be focusing on getting work done for the Contemporary Realism show at the Hammond Harkins Gallery, opening March 8, 2013!

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday and I wish you all the best in the coming year!
