Another for the doll series

Another painting from the doll series.

Prayer Chain oil on canvas 24" x 48"

And now back to painting glass and mason jars for a trip south in October!  I will be painting at Wells Gallery on Kiawah Island on October 25 at Art Uncorked.  Art and wine, doesn't get much better! :)

New work.. Old dolls..

I started working on some new paintings of old composite dolls.  A friend that runs a thrift store posted them one day on Facebook, and I had to have them!  They have been sitting in my studio for almost a year... but recently I have been drawn to work with them.  I just love them!!  I am going to need to look for a few more dolls but in the meantime, here are my first two paintings!

Red Lips and White Lies
36" x 60"

When the Devil Whispers in Your Ear, Look the Other Way
18" x 24"
