Wells Gallery Chalreston, SC

Wow! What a whirlwind the last couple weeks have been!!
The show at Kathryn Gallery on Friday was wonderful! It seems that the people who like my work are kindred spirits and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them! Thanks so much to all who came out.. it was so nice to see you! Also found a new restaurant that I can't wait to try next time we are in Columbus... Deepwood Restaurant on High St!
On Sunday my husband and I packed up the van and headed to Charleston, SC to deliver paintings to the beautiful Wells Gallery on Meeting St! I feel so blessed to be a part of their gallery and was so warmed by their wonderful southern hospitality. It was a short trip but we had the best time and look forward to going back!
The only down spot was that work on the new studio is at a standstill until next week when the windows come in... but not much we can do about it...
On a side note.. please know that I am constantly encouraged, thrilled and humbled by your comments.. sometimes I don't get back to them in a timely manner and I apologize.. please know that they are greatly appreciated!!
So now it is back to the grind!!
...some of the new pieces from the show and at Wells Gallery... I have uploaded all of them to my website... or feel free to email ( sallyg1@zoominternet.net ) for more info!

Mesmerizing. mesmerizing. mesmerizing! Your pieces are all so individual and each totally engrossing and kind of hynpnotic. Your subjects are such that we all want to collect, but don't have the room to store. Then, you put them in paintings and they find their "storage" place just fine: on a key viewing wall. And all is fine! Great work.
