This is what I have been working on lately... lots of detail and very time consuming! I am almost finished so I thought I'd post a picture so my dad knows that I really have been working!! :)
Ha.. thanks Sheila! Yep, he calls and reminds me that I haven't posted anything lately and what am I doing?... Some paintings just take longer than others!! :)
Wow, amazing Sally. And it's a large canvas, too. Beautiful light and colors. Such subtle transitions of whites and light and shadow throughout. awesome work.

OMG!!! From toads to tons of thread. This is amazing. Isn't it funny, no matter how old we get, we still feel we need approval from our parents. ;o)

This is amazing --and mysterious, with the open spool of yarn.
That's an enormous amount of work, but the results proved well worth the effort. Lovely painting!

This is just mind boggling. Just to think of all those shades of white which are not really white at all! And it's huge!
