I've been trying to spend more time in the studio, but summers always seem to take me away from it.. kids home, yard work, sunny days..... but I have finished a new painting in spite of myself!

Cherries are back in season.. and I can't walk by them in the grocery without wanting to paint them again.. So I did!

White Peony

Spring is my favorite season, and although I always take tons of photos of all the blossoms, I don't often paint them.  But yesterday I just really needed to get in the studio and I wanted to paint a small piece and gave this peony a try.. It felt really good to paint a bit looser!
