I painted all day today to keep from worrying about my oldest who was on a big adventure in Washington D.C.! As promised, General Sherman's horse! 16"x 20" This was large for me and I was happy to have kept it very loose. And a treasure painting too! A small cast iron German Shepard .... may have been my moms... once upon a time. Now he keeps an eye on me from my corner cupboard in the studio 4"x4"

Sally, sometimes I visit a blog and there are so many images I like/love that I don't know which one to comment on. Yours is that way. I adore the Victory and Sherman's horse paintings as well as the striped Hershey kiss and bluish landscape/waterscape? scene. As far as the Victorian, I just had a hard time getting into that particular image, maybe you felt the same way. But your work is outstanding. Kudos to you!

Camille,
Thank you so much! Sometimes I feel like my work is all over the place because I am still figuring it all out!! And, yeah, the victorian just didn't do much for me... :) it's always good to stretch though!! Thanks!
